The Ancient
Order of Hibernians is made up of men of the Faith and remains
firmly committed to the highest ideals and dictates of the Roman
Catholic Church. We proudly support all issues that promote Life as
well as encourage vocations within the Church and seek to foster
good will between the disparate faiths in Ireland and throughout the
world.
As such, the Order maintains one Chaplain for each Division as well
as a State Chaplain.

The largest church in the Southeastern United States, St. Joseph's
was built by Irish immigrants from Leinster who settled in the 5th
Ward of the city. Once the hub of a vibrant urban community, St.
Joseph's was saved from possible demolition in the late 1970's and
now serves the
